Since launching our Strategic Initiative around energy, the Center has released reports presenting economic analysis on the impacts of the energy industry, including collaborative studies with Texas 2036 and KPMG.
In 2021, the Center released Houston Low-Carbon Market Assessment: Four Ways Forward, a collaborative research project between the Center and the University of Houston. The project presents perspectives on using CCUS to decarbonize existing energy value chains in the oil and gas, petrochemical and electric power industries.
